MTV's 16 and Pregnant & Teen Mom

I figured I would talk about MTV's two popular shows and the way people look at them. I keep reading everywhere that people hate these shows because they promote teen pregnancy. I hate to tell everyone but if you watch these shows they dont have it easy and they go through issues. I am pretty sure there might be some girls out there that want to have kids early and that is their business and choice, but I doubt after watching theses shows and seeing how hard it is they are sitting there saying man it really looks like fun to go through that and have a baby. I also feel people dont take in account that teens life and what they have been through or even the way they became pregnant. I also see that people slam pregnant teens when they are happy to be pregnant, but have you stopped and thought about what they are thinking in there mind. When I got pregnant my boyfriend told me right there that he thought I was going to be pregnant because the condom broke, but do you know how many people judged me and told me how I should of used a condom. I also remember when I finally told my parents I showed my belly off to everyone. I figured if they were going to look and point figure and talk crap I wasnt going to hide it what was the point. Just because I showed my belly and didnt hide it also didnt mean I was happy to be having a baby. My point being is MTV's 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom are not telling teens to go get pregnant they are showing people how hard it is when you have a baby and showing the things these girls go through to help teens see its not a game or a joke. Like I told my friend its not like when you have your sisters baby and you can give it back when you have a baby you are with that baby all the time.
